FAMILY MAN

Larry McBurney and his wife Luisita work to keep families together through their advocacy with the Filipino American Society. Both participate in advocating for victims of domestic violence.

PUBLIC SERVANT

Larry McBurney currently sits on the Urbandale City Council. He served 11 years with the Iowa National Guard. Larry also served on the Urbandale Civil Rights Commission.

VETERAN

Larry McBurney served 11 years with the Iowa Air National Guard with 2 tours to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan.  He currently serves as the 2nd year Trustee with VFW Post 9668 and a member of the American Legion.
